Friday Thankfuls

TGIF!!!!  It's been a long week.  Full of whiny kids and errands and church, laundry, house cleaning(which NEVER seems to get done).  So, I'm glad that it is the weekend.  Today, I am so thankful for the cooler weather.  It really feels like fall here, ya'll!  And it's also kind of a gray day, so it looks a lot cooler outside than it is.  I love fall.  I love the way the leaves change colors, the air turns cooler.  I can wear long sleeves and sweaters and turtlenecks and boots without people thinking I have lost my mind!  I love the colors of fall.  The browns and yellows and oranges.  And the fall-time foods!!  The smell of pumpkin spice and making big pots of vegetable soup or chili.  So, even if the cool temperature here doesn't last very long, I'm still glad I got a reminder today of some of my favorite things ahead!!
