I've Been Bitten

Okay, let me just say that I have been bitten... by him...
When I went to Ang's this weekend, we all went to the movies on Friday to see Twilight. Now, let me say that originally I went because the other girls wanted to go and I wanted to spend time with them. I had not read the books, any of them, and I had no intention of reading them. I didn't care about vampires at all!!

Then the movie started. And at the moment when Edward walked in, I was HOOKED!! And I got sucked in (literally)!! I leaned over to Ang and said okay I am sooo reading the books now!! And the movie was one of the best love stories I have seen in a long time. I mean it!! There was no cussing in the movie, no sex, no blood and guts or gore. I was shocked. I am in misery that the next movie doesn't come out until 2010!!

When we got back to the house before I left, Ang loaded me up with all 4 books. Let me just say that these are no small books. These are 500+ page books. I told them that I was going to read while I drove. I was just kidding, even though I did consider it for a brief moment! And I finished the first one this afternoon... instead of taking my Sunday afternoon nap! It's that good!

So, to everyone I picked on about loving the books and the movie... I must say I am truly sorry! Cause now I've joined the Twilight club!!

Lol. Some girls in my youth group got me to reading these books. Not the best quality, but definitely a great read and quite addicting, especially the character of Edward. The books are by far better than the movie was. Let me know how you like the rest of the books. Have fun reading!

Okay, I'm seriously being tempted to see the movie. I've heard many more positive reviews than I have negative ones...and seriously. How often do you find a movie without profanity or sex of some kind?

My sister gave me the books for my birthday back in September and I spent some late nights reading them. Then we went to see the MOVIE Thanksgiving night while hubby watched the kids. Everybody needs a little Edward. Loved it!

I literally just finished the 4th of the books about 10 minutes ago...i've read 4 books in four or so days and couldn't stop but to eat and sleep. DW thought I was out of my mind but they are SO amazing. I, like you, saw the more and had to know more!
