Not Me! Monday Edition 8

Well, it's time for some free therapy again thanks to MckMama!!  So head on over to her place when you're finished here to find out what others are in therapy for!!

I did NOT let my kids eat halloween candy for breakfast 2x this week!  Not me!  I know that stuff has no nutritional value whatsoever and I always get up and cook them a healthy breakfast to start their day.

I did NOT run and scream like a little girl when taking the puppy out at 3am and I heard a deer snort at me from in my yard.  I also did not leave the puppy while running.  I care about him more than that!

I did NOT break out the granny panties while Frank was out of town all week! Not me! (hey don't scorn me.  You know you all have them!)

I did NOT thank the good Lord that Saturday was Wyatt's last soccer game!  Not me!  I am always glad when my kids are involved in sports!

I did NOT go to the fair with some of the college kids this week.  I also did not ride every ride or feel like I was a kid again!  Not me!  I know that I am old and I acted like their mother the whole time, making sure they didn't overeat and they were safe!

Don't forget to head over and see what MckMama and all the MSC are doing!!!

RE: The Shack ...

I'm halfway through with it, but haven't read it for over a month. Guess I should read less blogs and get 'er done. :o O I've really really enjoyed it, wept more times than I can count. I'm not a scholar so I really can't say if it contradict scripture or not. I tend to just take it as a piece of literature that has caused me to look things in a whole different perspective. =)

Strange, my Not Me included Halloween candy too! The fair sounds so fun but I get the feeling like their parent thing. I haven't read your blog before but I think I'll be back and check out some early posts too. I'm intrigued by The Shack comment since I read it a few months ago.

I love that you have the grannie panties out! And that you are a domestic diva, care to give lessons? I finally finished my conference data sheets, now just organizing the rest... slow death.

Great list...you gotta be a kid sometimes, what fun would life be without acting like a kid once in awhile! Grannie panties, are there any other kind?! Thanks for stoping by :)

I liked The Shack but there were some things that made me uncomfortable. I liked the way he depicted the Trinity. I liked that God was so personal and wanting a relationship with us. I really really didn't like the scene with the "flames" and I ended up just skimming it. I think alot of people got more depth out of it than I did.

K, you made me feel better about letting my daughter have candy with breakfast almost EVERY morning this week! I am soooo ready for it to be ALL gone!

Life's too short....right!?

Ok...well, I feel a bit better. I'm the one digging into the Halloween candy for breakfast, but it's for me. :)

And those Grannie panties...aaahh...love 'em!

Hugs,

Ohilda

LOL...can't believe you left that puppy there to fend for himself. :) And I LOVE rides...well, unless they spin. I don't like to spin. As for granny panties...I wear them every day. :)

OH, and TB&H is totally jealous of your going to the GA/AUB game. Ought to be a good time. Take pics!

Love ya!!!

Ahhhhhh granny panties. I have never liked thongs nor any other variety that ends up more in my butt than covering it. So I am with you on this one... only, I think my wearing of them extends beyond a week! ;)

Many blessings-
Amanda
